Lindsay Lohan, about her life 'over my dead body'

Lindsay Lohan's new post-breakup makeover hasn't won over singer Steve Nicks, who was less-than-impressed to hear that the troubled starlet is desperate to play her on film.

"Over my dead body," the 60-year-old singer told the New York Times after learning that Lohan was interested in buying the rights to her life story in order to nab the lead role.

"She needs to stop doing drugs and get a grip. Then maybe we'll talk," added Nicks.

Lohan, 22, who split from DJ Samantha Ronson last week, recently described her lack of recent acting roles as "scary" in an interview with Nylon magazine, but appears to be preparing to get back in the game.

On Tuesday, Lohan shopped for a new tattoo at Hollywood's Shamrock Social Club, and on Wednesday she emerged from the Byron & Tracey Salon with her hair dyed back to her trademark flame red.

The actress dined with family, including her mother, Dina, and younger sister Ali, at Nobu in West Hollywood on Wednesday evening and was described by as "frantic at times" but "friendly".
